    Speaker Bio:

    Paddy is Director of Business Development for ICT at Dublin City University, and is responsible for technology licensing, new start-up formation and industry collaborations.
    Paddy has over 20 years experience in managing technology businesses internationally.  Before joining DCU he worked in the US for Alcatel-Lucent in a variety of senior management roles including Corporate Strategy, Business Development and M&A.  He moved back to Ireland to set up and lead Bell Lab’s European licensing business.  Prior to this he led a number of product innovation teams at Nortel in the UK.
    Paddy has an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast and an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management / the University of Michigan.
